FDA Creates a List to Help FSVP Importer Comply with FSVP Requirements
FDA has been very active in conducting FSVP audits on U.S. importers and in order to better assist them in implementing and maintaining records to comply with FSVP requirements, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made an available list of records required by the FSVP regulation. This list will serve as a guide as to what information the FSVP importer should be keeping in their records and what they should be presenting when facing an FSVP audit. FDA suggests that the list be utilized accordingly by the FSVP importers as not everything will be applicable.
